Q: How many pieces of makeup/cosmetics does each counter-top display hold?

A: Each display can hold from 20 to 50+ pieces of makeup/cosmetics, depending on the size of the makeup/cosmetic.

Q: How long do these counter-top displays last?

A: They should last well over 10+ years.
These heavy-duty litho-laminated counter-top displays are made from stain resistant and tear resistant UV coated corrugated board. Easy to clean surfaces and improved performance.

Q: How much does each piece of makeup/cosmetic cost me?

A: When purchased in bulk each piece should only cost you between $1.00 to $3.00 each. You should routinely double and triple your investment because profit margins are very high.

Q: How much should I charge per piece of makeup/cosmetic?

A: Best rule of thumb is charge exactly double of what you paid. Let the retailer charge 2x, 3x, 4x what they paid, as much as they want. Keep the retailer happy, and they will sell lots of product, and will continue purchasing for years.
We furnish you with plenty of samples and testers of new makeup/cosmetics to entice them into placing big orders.

Q: How do I re-stock these retail establishments?

A: You can either give them a call, or show up in person with plenty of merchandise in the trunk of your car. Whatever they need, you have right there available to restock their display.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: Most of the time you will receive cash from the retail merchants whenever they need product. An average of 90% of the time, they will pay you in cash. Around 10% of the time, they will pay with a check. There are some situations where they prefer that you email them an invoice, and they’ll routinely pay on certain times of the month.

Q: Can I leave items under consignment?

A: Yes, that option is available.

Q: How much money does each location typically bring in?

A: We will not guarantee earnings. Too many variables:

  • Every location has varying amount of sales
  • Makeup prices/profit margins vary
  • We have no control over how much time and effort is being put in by each particular distributor.

Q: How often do I service my locations?
A: Many locations can quickly be sold out of makeup/cosmetic. Depending on each location, they should be ready to be serviced on average in between 1 to 3 weeks.
You will eventually need to re-order product from our VIP Distributor portal to have sufficient inventory on hand to re-stock your displays.

Q: Do I need any special training?

A: Generally speaking, these makeup/cosmetic merchandising routes are very simple to run. We will be here to assist you every step of the way with our training materials, trade secrets and our support hot-line.

Q: How much work is required?

A: 10 locations takes about 3 hours to service. It can be done in one day, or spread out during the course of the week. 100+ locations can keep you busy full time.

Many locations are open for business long hours, allowing you to service your boxes 7 days a week, approximately from 9am to 9pm.

Please note: This is a real way to make money. There is work involved. That is true for any real business. You need to put time and effort into it. The reward is that you are able to work for yourself, making your own hours. These established routes make it easy to make great income full or part time for many years to come.

Q: How can I get locations to place these?

A: We can furnish you with a list of locations that agreed to having you leave the displays.

To customize your list, we will ask you to give us a zip code of the area you will want to work. Our telemarketers will call on businesses within a 1 to 15-mile radius of that zip code. The telemarketers will get permission from the businesses over the phone. Mostly beauty salons, convenience stores, hotels and other high traffic locations. Within 2 to 3 weeks we will furnish you with a list of locations: name, address, contact names and store hours. If necessary, we will replace any locations that did not work out within 30 days, free of charge.

You are also welcome to market on your own to find additional locations.

Q: How do I find locations on my own?

A: You can use the pre-approved locations we furnish you, or you can find locations on your own.

It is actually quite simple, since many of these retailers would love to make extra income selling high-quality name-brand makeup/cosmetics while using a small part of their counter space.
With our 25+ years of experience, we have learned many trade secrets that we will share with you. With this valuable training you will quickly find out how easy it is to secure locations on your own.

Q: Will I be an employee, or self employed?

A: You will be considered as self-employed.

Q: What do I need to do to customize my order?

A: We need for you to give us 1 or 2 zip codes of the city/area that you prefer to work in. This way we can set aside an exclusive territory for you. It also lets our telemarketing department know which area to call on so that your locations are in the desired area that you have chosen. We will follow up each order with an email or a phone call so that we can make sure your locations are to your liking and everything else is customized to your specifications.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive everything?

A: You will receive everything within 1 to 3 weeks of placing your order.

Q: How do I order my products/inventory?
A: All orders are made through our VIP Distributor Order Portal. There are no salespeople to call or price lists to request. Simply browse our available lots, select what you want and then place your order.

Q: Do I need an account?

A: Yes. You must be an MMAZ VIP Distributor and have an account with us before you can make a purchase. We always verify each order.

Q: When will my order be delivered?

A: Most orders are delivered within 2-3 days. Keep in mind, our warehouse is located on the eastern seaboard so some orders to the west coast may take a bit longer.

Q: Can I pick up my order from your warehouse?

A: No, for security and operational purposes we do not allow in-warehouse pickups. We convenient and economical shipping options already set in place.

Q: What carrier will deliver my order? 

A: Most are delivered by UPS. There are some instances where we ship FedEx, or USPS.

Q: What are the shipping costs?

A: Free. All orders have shipping costs built in.

Q: How will I know when my order ships?

A: You will receive a shipping notification email once your order ships. The email will also contain your tracking number and order details.

Q: Can I ask for specific items to be placed in my lot?

A: Most of our lots are pre-made and items cannot be changed. If you have interest in any particular products, you are welcome to inquire on availability and current pricing. You can call or email us with those requests. We will follow up with a quote, usually within 24 hours.

Q: What condition should I expect to receive my items in?

A: Unless otherwise noted in the individual lot listing, the majority of our liquidation lots are from overstock, clearance or close-out. Sometimes, these are unused items that have been on retail store shelves and liquidated at the end of the season, or when the store needed to make room for new stock to be displayed. The reason for being removed from shelves may be as trivial as a new package design from the manufacturer (many stores are under contract to only sell items with the latest packaging). These items are ALWAYS new/unused. They are NEVER from customer returns.

Q: How do I find out about new lots for sale?

A: Check our portal frequently. Our lots move quickly and there are new items for sale nearly every day. Order quick while items are in stock!

Q: How many items come in a lot?

A: The number of items in each lot varies. Each listing states the total quantity of items that are contained in that lot.

Q: What is a “unit”?

A: A unit is an item as can be found packaged for individual sale at a retail store. The following would all be considered a single unit:

• A single lipstick
• A bottle concealer
• A single lip-liner
• A blister pack of three lipsticks
• A single package containing three compacts

Q: Do you offer a guarantee on your lots?

A: Each lot comes with a unit quantity guarantee, meaning that if you select a lot and the listing states the lot contains 400 units you will receive 400 units. If you do not receive the correct number of units, we guarantee to make it right.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Due to the nature of the liquidation business, we cannot accept returns. As we do value you as a customer and strive to provide excellent service if there is a problem with your order you can contact our customer care team and we work with you to resolve any problem.

Q: What should I do if there is a problem with my order?

Q: Are my orders and my personal and payment information secure?
